Currently playing Sarah Geronimo's It Takes a Man and a Woman, soundtrack and title of her new movie with John Lloyd Cruz.
Its the first time I went to the cinema alone cause I don't wanna miss this movie. I've only got today and I'll be busy for two weeks that's why I wasn't able to wait for my friends to answer if they wanna come with me. But it seems like they don't since they've got their boyfriends and maybe they have planned too on watching this movie with their partners. That's the disadvantage of being single, poor me. I can't also make a commitment with my colleagues cause we have different schedules and its hard to adjust it.
Anyways, I love this movie because it's the sequel to the first two movies of Sarah and John Lloyd which was shown in 2008 and 2009, my college days. My friends and I would always watch it together in cinemas. Too sad, this time I'm alone. This third sequel of Sarah-John Lloyd movie was very awesome and was better than the first two. So if you got hooked on the first and second movie, you'll get more hooked and addicted to this. There are more kilig and funny scenes specially at the end. And it also gave a lesson about love.
I won't be talking about A Very Special Love and You've Changed My Life anymore cause it will be too long. And besides, It Takes a Man and a Woman is the best part among the three. It's my favorite. The story started with Laida coming back to the Philippines after four years in Canada and New York and a flashback on how she and Miggy got separated. Miggy is presently in a mutual understanding relationship with Belle, the woman who Laida assumed Miggy cheated with two years ago that causes their break-up. Miggy's company is not doing well and the board of directors want him out so he has to work with a consultant from New York who happens to be Laida. Imagine two ex-lovers working together. So of course their personal issues always got involved in their work. They always fight and pretends not to care and forgot their past. Laida always shows off her new self as a bolder, stronger, wiser, braver and fiercer woman as she says. But in the middle of it, their feelings cannot be really hidden. When Laida knew about the condition of Miggy's company she sympathies him and helps him finish the project they have been doing wholeheartedly this time. They went to New York to cover Laida's life there as their presentation to the client and in that time being the two of them alone in New York, they have talked about what happened to them after their break-up and felt the love the way before as they tour around the city. But Belle comes in the picture that cut their almost there rekindling of love. The two remain as colleagues until the success of their presentation. But in the end, Miggy realize what kind of man he want to become and that is to be Laida's last love. So he proposed to her in the airport with the help of all the airport staffs and some passengers and his sister and brothers singing Kailan, they're theme song in the first movie. They got married and its a very romantic and moving scene. I just cant describe how it is but its totally awesome. Iwould like to have that kind of love story too and of course the type of man. Who wouldnt like Miggy.
While watching it, I felt that I'm also in the same position as Laida's (Sarah) when I was in college and the time I became single and still seeing my ex. So, I know the feeling of Laida when he met Miggy (John Lloyd) again after two years of their break up. I've always liked Sarah Geronimo among all the artist in the Philippines and of course John Lloyd Cruz. Who would've not liked his movies. Many are requesting to have part four of their movie but for me its enough to leave it there. Just make a new one that's different from this story. But I'll surely miss these two bebe kos.
Here's a preview of the first two movie.
A Very Special Love
You Changed My Life
And of course, It Takes a Man and a Woman
